Video Highlights – Day 2, KiPiDi SYOB Workshop, Slovoville

Day 2 of the KiPiDi Start Your Own Business workshop arrived with new registrations quickly integrated into groups, a brief recap of what was covered last week, before the KiPiDi Warriors presented their assignment from the previous week.

On Saturday, 3 September the KiPiDi Warriors successfully bridged the gap between entrepreneurial intention and action. The KiPiDi Seed Flea Market came to life at the Slovoville Community Hall.

Great ideas are all well and good. Tested and evaluated, even better. But if no one knows about your business, that’s all it remains, a well kept secret only you know about! Day 5 saw the introduction of the Marketing Canvas. A one page tool to help the entrepreneur design and build their marketing strategy….

Saturday, 9 July 2022 was Competition Day for the select few who had stayed the course and completed the workshop. Contestants were allocated a “business idea” which they had to analyse using the Lean Canvas and then pitch to the workshop. Undeterred by the absence of power, contestants forged ahead using either their cell phones…
