Our flagship programmes

KiPiDi SYOB

KiPiDi Start Your Own Business is a community based initiative focused upon empowering the unemployed and the communities they live in by providing entrepreneurship education in our townships.

The workshop introduces participants to the foundational knowledge and business tools the entrepreneur requires to start their own business, improve their chance of success, and reduce the risk of failure.

Classes are interactive with individual and group work reinforcing the transfer of knowledge through practice and the building of skills.

KiPiDi BUSINESS FAMILY

At Kipidi we understand that family businesses are not just companies; they’re a legacy. The programme’s uniqueness lies in its approach of bringing family business education directly to the doorstep of under-resourced communities, where access to traditional educational facilities and family business programmes is limited at best. Our Family Business Programme will offer unparalleled insights into the intricacies of managing, expanding, and transitioning a family business through generations.

My new book

Entrepreneurship Starts Here | Know it Practise it Do it is both a companion and an extension to the KiPiDi Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, a series of workshops developed by KiPiDi NPC Founder & CEO Amanda Mathule, in which entrepreneurship is taught to those that need it most living at the bottom of the pyramid in our townships.

Championing entrepreneurship as an enduring response to joblessness, Amanda introduces the reader to the foundational knowledge required of the startup entrepreneur. From ideation to action planning, startup entrepreneurs will find a toolbox full of the essential concepts to guide them along their journey to success.

My first book

Business Families | Someone has to lead introduces the SME family business to the vast body of knowledge developed over many years by family business commentators, academics, practitioners and owners. The text is introductory in nature, providing a framework within which the SME family business can develop an understanding of what successful wealthy family business owners have known for many years – how to maintain harmony, continuity and prosperity within the business family.

While written primarily with the SME family business in mind, the text is well referenced providing the more informed reader with an opportunity to delve deeper and explore in greater detail the sources that helped inform my journey.
