KiPiDi NPC is also registered as an NPO in terms of the Nonprofit Organisations Act 71 of 1997, with registration number NPO285-646.

KiPiDi NPC has been granted tax exempt status in terms of the Income Tax Act 58 of 1962 and is a Public Benefit Organisation with reference number PBO930078723. Donors are entitled to a deduction from taxable income if the donation is supported by the necessary section 18A receipt issued by KiPiDi NPC.
